The PETZL AVAO SIT Harness is specifically designed for technicians performing rope access, industrial maintenance, inspection, and work positioning tasks. Its modular sit-harness design allows it to be used alone for positioning or combined with a compatible chest harness such as TOP or TOP CROLL to create a full fall-arrest system.

The harness features a semi-rigid waistbelt and padded leg loops with contoured foam, providing enhanced comfort during suspension and extended work periods. Breathable lining materials improve airflow while maintaining durability in demanding work environments.

Multiple attachment points allow efficient integration with descenders, positioning lanyards, work seats, and restraint systems. The ventral attachment point allows connection of descenders or positioning lanyards in single mode, while lateral attachment points enable use of positioning lanyards in double mode. A rear attachment point on the waistbelt allows connection of a restraint lanyard when required.

The waistbelt also includes equipment loops and slots for tool holders, enabling technicians to organize tools and accessories efficiently while working at height. Adjustment is quick and secure using self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles on the waistbelt and leg loops.
