PETZL ASAP® Mobile Fall Arrester

The PETZL ASAP® Mobile Fall Arrester is designed to provide continuous fall protection for professionals working at height. The device travels smoothly along a safety rope without requiring manual intervention, allowing the user to move freely while maintaining constant protection.

In the event of a sudden movement such as a fall, slide, or uncontrolled descent, the device automatically locks onto the rope, immediately stopping the user and reducing the risk of injury. Its unique locking mechanism ensures that the device engages reliably even if the user grabs the device during the fall.

The ASAP fall arrester works on vertical or angled ropes, providing flexibility for different rope access configurations. It can be installed or removed at any point on the rope, making it convenient for technicians performing complex vertical operations.

For increased safety and working distance from the rope, the device can be used together with ASAP’SORBER or ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorbers, which help dissipate the energy generated during a fall and reduce impact forces on the user.
